Why SUNLASER · Factory Acceptance
Factory Acceptance Testing for Battery Production Equipment
Before shipment, your machine or line runs with your products in our factory and is checked against the acceptance criteria agreed at the start: cycle time, welding results, test stations and safety functions.

Why Verify the Line Before It Ships
Fixing a problem at our factory takes days. Fixing it after the line is installed in yours can take weeks.
Verify What Was Agreed
Every check is measured against the acceptance criteria written into the equipment scope, not against a general demo.
Tested with Your Products
The line runs with your cells, busbars and parts, so fixtures, positioning and welding are proven on the real product.
Faster Start-Up on Site
A line that has already passed FAT needs less adjustment during installation and commissioning at your factory.
What We Verify During FAT
The exact checklist depends on your equipment scope. These are the areas a typical battery PACK line FAT covers.
Cycle Time & Output
Complete cycle measured with your products, including loading, positioning, processing, inspection and unloading.
Welding Results
Welds checked against the criteria set during the welding trial: appearance and, where agreed, strength, resistance or cross-section.
OCV & Internal Resistance
Test station readings, sorting logic and automatic NG rejection verified with real cells.
Insulation & EOL Testing
Insulation and end-of-line test stations checked for correct results, limits and data output.
Safety Functions
Emergency stops, guarding, door interlocks and laser safety enclosures tested one by one.
Traceability & Changeover
Barcode scanning, data records and recipe-based product changeover checked for each agreed product variant.
How FAT Works
01
Agree Acceptance Criteria
Cycle time, quality checks and test items are written into the equipment scope before production starts.
02
Prepare Test Products
Your cells, busbars and parts are prepared for the test run.
03
Run and Measure
The line runs with your products while each item on the checklist is tested and recorded.
04
Review and Sign Off
You review the results. Any open items are listed, corrected and re-checked before sign-off.
05
Pack and Ship
After sign-off the equipment is packed for shipment, followed by installation, commissioning and operator training at your site.
What You Receive After FAT
FAT Checklist & Results
Every agreed item with its measured result.
Test Data Records
Cycle time, test station and welding data from the run.
Photos & Video
A visual record of the line running with your products.
Open Items & Sign-Off
Any open items, how they were closed, and the signed acceptance record.
One Step in a Verified Project
FAT confirms what the welding trial proved and what the equipment scope promised, before the line leaves our factory.
Define Your Acceptance Criteria Early
